Our Dietary Aides prepare and serve food to our residents in our facility.

You will deliver dishes and ensure good sanitary conditions on the cooking and dining premises.

A Dietary Aide must be capable of preparing food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. They must also be competent, conscientious, and customer-oriented.

The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Takedown dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Skills

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina

The ideal candidate will be an Exercise Physiologist, Personal Trainer or OT/PT Student

High-school diploma/GED required.

Our Wellness Program Coordinator will be responsible for conducting various exercise and wellness groups, as well as walking sessions with patients that are currently receiving rehab, based on the recommendations from our Occupational and Physical Therapists.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Weekends, Mornings

Hours per week: around 16

Salary: $20-27 per hour

Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing has a Per diem opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Our SLP is responsible for the assessment of patients: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Speech-Language Pathologist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.

As well, the Speech-Language Pathologist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for the state of NY
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Evaluations, weekly progress notes, recertification and discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide the best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights.
• Experience with Case Mix Index and PPS scheduling is preferred however not limited to.
